On another note, this is deffinatly turning into an Off Topic board! You're meant to be talking about Skafunkle!!!

Yeh, apart from the fact that no-one came, we had a lot of fun! The other bands were graet, esspecially Social suicide, I mean, to acctually come up and appologise for haveing to leave during our set, wow, talk about good manners! Pure Silk were good, just a little silent inbetween songs, and the physisists, well, they could've taken part a little more in the audience, but they played allright, and fair play to them for letting us borrow their distortion pedal after mine concked out! Yeh, good gig. Next time, we gotta do it in cardiff. I wonder how much tucan is to hire??

Ben - I don't think you'd have approved of a 'great' review by me.
Sounds good! Very polite of Social Suicide by the sounds of it too. How long was your set?

Just over half an hour I think....?
i think you've understated the size of the crowd rod - there were a fair number of people listening to us even if there was only about 5 non-band members.
you're right about the cardiff thing. *contorversial time* most cardiff people are so used to being provided with things on their doorstep they (generally) don't bother to go anywhere within about 5 minutes of their house. the fact that most people in the vale have to tavel all the time doesn't seem to get through to them
*disclaimer: i take no responsibility in the offending of any cardiff people in the writing of this post.

yes, the amount that gig was advertised goes to show people are lazy and arent willing to travel. It was advertised loads! Not even barry people bothered to turn up. meh. Wasa good gig all the same.......can't wait to hear the recording, even if you can barely hear it.
Lastly Thanks to everyone who came but a special thanks to bens dad for letting us use the hall and to rods dad for fiddling with knobs and faders for the evening for us.
